Blog Schedule

TUESDAYS – Free Fiction. I tell you a story (or piece of a serial).

SATURDAYS – Book Review. I’ll let you know about a book I read recently and how I liked it.

SUNDAYS – Short Story of the Week. I choose a story from around the web to share with you all.

This is my blog schedule until future notice. I try to keep a tight ship most of the time, though sometimes I mess up and skip a post; other times you’ll get extra posts on unplanned days.

Let’s say it’s the whims of the creative mind and call it even.

I have to make a change for the better.

‘Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don’t resist them; that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.’ – Lao Tzu

Things around here are changing… again.

It seems like I do this at least once a quarter. Blame my artistic temperament; I have always been a shifty little chameleon.

Things on the blog from now until the next metamorphosis will be a little different. I will be posting a once-monthly update, sales, occasional free fiction, and the book reviews I already have queued up.

I need the time I spend blogging and handling social media to be writing, editing, and reading. I need to brainstorm and pitch. I want to explore guest posting and critique groups. And I just don’t have the time with everything going on in my life. Unfortunately, frequent blogging is one of the things I have chosen to let go of in favor of these new things.

As always, thanks for understanding, glorious readers.

2 Things I Learned from 3 Years of Reading Challenges

I hope you celebrated with the people you care about most on New Year’s Eve, and recuperated enough on New Year’s Day to feel bright-eyed and bushy-tailed again this morning.

What’s on the agenda today?

Reading, of course!

I was going back through my old blog posts, the ones I managed to save when I changed over to my new domain in late 2016, and found I had started a trend of doing To Be Read challenges. Naturally, I’ll be doing that again this year, but I wanted to explore what I went through from 2013 to 2016 in trying these challenges, and what I might could learn about myself through the process.
