I’ve been on my indie publishing journey for four years now, and the one most important thing I’ve learned along the way is that you never stop learning new things.
Everything changes constantly in the publishing world. The only thing that doesn’t change? What really matters: getting a book into the hands of a reader.
Book Description
You were inspired by You Must Write a Book, and the time has come to begin writing yours. I Must Write My Book provides the guidance and space to capture your thoughts, gain clarity, and move through the process with ease.
My Rating
First of all, it’s important to note that the author recommends that you read the companion book, You Must Write a Book, before you read this workbook. They go together like peas in a pod.
Second, this workbook is exactly what you need to go from no book to marketing and marketing with a brand new book.
As usual, Honoree Corder does not disappoint. She gives enough description and instructions to get you from beginning to end without bogging you down with unnecessary details. And there’s a lot to learn here.
I recommend you grab the companion book and read it first, then pull out your favorite spiral notebook and start working. It will take a while, I think (I haven’t actually done the work part yet), but once you put in the work, the author just about guarantees a modicum of success.
I give this book a solid five out of five stars. Reading it was a pleasure, and I can’t wait to get started on the tips I found inside!
