BOOK REVIEW: Connected Hearts anthology by YLVA

I recently downloaded several Ylva Publishing stories on free promotion from their website, because I didn’t have enough books and stories already to read. (Yeah, I’m giving myself the side-eye. It’s ridiculous.)

As part of two challenges – #ReadMyOwnDamnBooks & The Literary Others – I decided to make my way through as many print and electronic LGBTQ+/SAGA/queer books as possible this month. Technically, this one doesn’t count for #RMODB, but anything I can do to lighten my book load in time to get more books is okay by me.

Seduction for Beginners by Jae
For Annie, work always took precedence over romance. But now, recently come-out and involved in a relationship with a woman for the first time, Annie is determined to seduce her girlfriend, Drew, on Valentine’s Day. Unfortunately, she has no clue as to the arts of seduction.

My Rating

I had already read and reviewed The Morning After, but I enjoyed the other stories in this book. Two Hearts – One Mind was a sweet story, one that takes place after a Happily Ever After ending and only makes it better. On the Road wasn’t my favorite, but the chemistry between Stella and Rita is undeniable. And Seduction for Beginners was another adorable, sweet, sexy story by Jae.

Overall, I liked this anthology, and give it four of five stars. Pick it up if you like sweet lesfic.
